Robert Norton Rites Today

Funeral services for Robert E. Norton, 75, will be Thursday, at 2 p.m., in the Protection Mennonite Church. Mr. Norton died Sunday at Dodge City.

Born February 8, 1898, he married Gladys Leota Grauberger April 23, 1928 at Watonga, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Donald Norton, Saxmundham, England; daughters, Alice Lorene Ferrin, Tucson, Arizona, Wanda Ashlock, Protection; brothers, Charlie Norton, address unknown, Wesley, Hennessey, Oklahoma; sisters, Annie Hipple, Cleo Springs, Oklahoma, Eileen Wood, Okeene, Oklahoma, Rosie Franklin, Grand Junction, Colorado, and 11 grandchildren.

Robert E. Norton is buried in the Protection Cemetery. His son, William Robert "Bill" Norton, and wife, Gladys Leota (Grauberger) Norton, preceded him in death.
