Pfc. Merle D. Pearson, U.S. Army

Korean War Casualty

Name: PEARSON MERLE D.

Home of Record (county): HUMBOLDT
Date of casualty: 04 APR 1953

It is unknown to me (Jerry Ferrin) why Merle D. Pearson is listed as a Comanche County, Kansas, Korean War Casualty on the Memorial Shaft in Crown Hill Cemetery. He probably lived in the county at one time. My guess is that he was the son of Rev. Everett Merle Pearson.
