TARRANT COUNTY TEXAS
Sitting in ProbateNow comes F.J. Gannon and files this his application for letters of administration upon the estate of C.C. Pepperd, deceased, and would with respect shows to the court as follows, to-wit: -
I. That C.C. Pepperd is dead, that he died intestate in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, on or about the 1st day of September, 1921.
II. That at the time of his death he was a resident citizen of Tarrant County, Texas, and the principal part of his estate is situated in Tarrant County, Texas.
III. That the probable value of his estate is Seven Hundred ($700.00) Dollars, and consists of personal property, some of which is evidenced by a note which is secured upon real estate in Tarrant County, Texas.
IV. That a necessity exists for an administration upon said estate in that the estate of C.C. Pepperd is indebted in the sum of approximately Four Hundred Dollars; that there is only on hand in cash approximately the sum of Two Hundred Dollars which is located in banks in the city of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas; that there is a note of approximately Five Hundred Dollars due the estate which is secured by loans upon property situated in Tarrant County, Texas; That the debts of the estate are occasioned

-2-by the funeral and burial expenses of the said C.C. Pepperd; That your petitioner has guaranteed by a legal obligation the payment of said debts and is legally responsible for them provided they are not paid by the estate of C.C. Pepperd; That the said estate is justly bound for such debts, and your petitioner is only a guaranter of said indebtedness; That it is necessary for an administration upon said estate in order to see that the debts of the estate are justly paid and in order to secure the money from the Banks, and also in order to collect the debts owing to the estate and to give valid release of the debts.
V. That your petitioner is not disqualifed by law to act as administrator.
Wherefore, promises considered, your petitioner prays that citation (?) issue hereon, and that upon hearing hereof letters of administration issue to your petitioner upon the estate of C.C. Pepperd, deceased.
