Snapshots of People in Comanche County, Kansas, from Wendel Ferrin's Collection
When Dad died on 11 Oct 1991, I inherited a collection of photos taken by him as well as those taken by other people, "school photos" for the most part. Here are some snapshots, many of which he took himself. The captions are taken from the remarks he wrote, at my request, on the back of each photo. It's a good thing he did, because I couldn't personally have identified more than a few of the people pictured on this page. Please let me know if you find a precious photo on this page, as it's only the hope that some of these photos will turn out to be precious to someone which gives me the energy to create pages like this.
