In Memory of Delmer "Buck" Ferrin
There is a place where the cowboy goes,
Where the fences stay fixed
And the fine weather blows,
Where the light is a-pleasin' like a warm glowing love,
And yer kinfolk are there shining with the glories above.There is a place where the cowboy goes,
Where pasture stays green, beside a river, life flows,
Where your favorite ol' horse is waiting for you;
Not to ride out to work, but just for the view.There is a place where the cowboy goes,
It's a comfortable feelin' like you've never known,
To find on the trail yer not all alone,
And to find the light's on when the cowboy comes home.by Randy McMurray
