Died, Aug. 31st, of typhoid fever at the residence of her parents, nine miles east of Nescatunga, Miss Olive, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Veatch. She was only 16 years of age, and to all appearances in perfect health one week before her death. Thus it is, "In the midst of life, we are in death." She was a member of the Presbyterian church, having joined that church six months previous to her death. The remains were buried in the cemetery west of town on Thursday, followed by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. Rev. Smith conducted the funeral services at the grave, in a very impressive manner.
