Company B participated in the second Liberty loan drive parade; Red Cross drive April, 1918. ACTIVITIES.

From date of the organization of this company until after the signing of the armistice the company drilled, as a unit, regularly three times each week. Shortly after this, because of the epidemic of contagious disease, a ban was placed on the community by the local board of health prohibiting public gatherings. After this ban was lifted the company met regularly in school of instruction and interior guard duty. The company took part in two battalion reviews. As opportunity offered the company participated in Red Cross activities, and took the leading part at home in peace celebrations, also away from home. The organization took an active part in six funerals of deceased soldiers, and rendered every service possible.
