WILMORE, a thriving little city with a population of about three hundred, situated in the beautiful Mule Creek Valle7y in the eastern half of Comanche county. It being the only town in the eastern half of the county has a extensive trade territory. On the east are large cattle ranches as the country is best suited for grazing and also many large fields of alfalfa. One of the largest ranches being Geo. T. Hall and Son ranch. On the south is the New Eden district noted for its golden wheat fields. On the west is also principally wheat raising with some alfalfa on the Mule Creek bottom land. On the north, known as the Booth neighborhood, wheat is also raised extensively while on further north in Kiowa County and on the Medicine river are large cattle ranches, one of which being the Greenleaf ranch.
      WILMORE is located on the Wichita and Englewood branch of the Santa Fee railroad, has two passenger trains daily and also two local freights. Has excellent mail service since the Star Route is in operation between here and Sun city. Orders leaving here at four o'clock in the afternoon return the next day.
