Funeral services for Mrs. Sam Booth were held last Saturday afternoon, September 20, in the Wilmore Christian church and were in charge of the pastor, Rev. Garrison of Enid, Okla. He used as his text, "Living with Father."A mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Austin Cobb, Mrs. Wayne Flory, Walter Smith and Ray Bigbee sang, "Some Time We'll Understand" and "Jesus Lover of My Soul," and Delmar Horner sang a solo, "Death Is Only a Dream." Mrs. Nick Baker at the piano. Burial was in the Wilmore cemetery. There were many beautiful flowers.
Obituary. Emma Cottle Booth, daughter of Travis and Belle Cottle, was born April 21, 1875 in Linn county, Kansas, and passed away unexpectedly at her home near Wilmore after a brief illness, on September 16, 1947, at the age of 71 years, four months and 26 days.
She was united in marriage to Samuel Booth September 19, 1907, at Hutchinson, Kans. To this union were born two children, a son, Travis, who preceded her in death August 25, 1927, and a daughter, Georgia Pauline Bond. One brother, Charley Cottle, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Booth is survived by her husband and daughter, Pauline of the home; one sister, Mrs. Dulcie Cantrel of Los Angeles, Calif., and by other relatives and a host of friends.
She had made her home in the community north of Wilmore for many years and was a kind and loving wife and mother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Christian church and patterned her life after her Master. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of all.

Miller, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Dorothy Cottle, Hays, Kans.; Lester Booth and family of Haviland, kans.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pendergraft and Robert of Wichita; Mr. and Mrs. John Wright of Belvidere; Jim Booth, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Booth, John Booth and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hadley of Coldwater; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hubert, Mr. and Mrs. Cordis Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lewis of Greensburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bond of Langdon, Kans.
