Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 2_, 1963, at 2:00 p.m. in the Assembly of God, Coldwater, for Mrs. Ferrel Taylor Guizlo.Officiating at the services were Rev. M. M. Brewer and Rev. Paul R. Markstrom, Mrs. Barbara McGinnis and Mrs. Ferreldean Hazen sang "He the Pearly Gates Will Open" and "At the End of the Way." Mrs. Paul R. Markstrom was the pianist.
Pallbearers were Jack, Richard, Paul, Joseph and John Guizlo and Tom Brewer.
Interment was in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater, Kansas.
Obituary Ferrel Taylor Guizlo was born in St. John, Kansas, on January 11, 1894, and departed this life in Coldwater, Kansas, on March 30, 1963. She had attained the age of 69 years, 2 months and 19 days.
Mrs. Guizlo first came to Coldwater with her family in 1903. After a two year residence here, the family moved to suburban Kansas City, Mo., where she finished her schooling Mrs. Guizlo returned to Coldwater as a young lady and taught school for a time in a rural area southwest of the city. Except for a brief absence for reasons of health, Coldwater was her home until the day of her decease.
Mrs. Guizlo's marriage to Charles Earl Guizlo took place in this city on May 12, 1912, and to this union was born six children, all of whom survive. The sons are Jack and John Guizlo of Garden Grove, Calif.; Joseph and Richard Guizlo of Millington and Memphis, Tennessee, respectively; and Paul Guizlo of Kinsley, Kans. The one daughter is Mrs. M. M. Brewer, Jr., of Oklahoma, Okla. Mr. Guizlo preceded his wife in death more than twenty years ago.
Additional survivors include three brothers, two sisters, sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The brothers are Messrs. Roy Taylor of St. John, Kans.; Elmer Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Marion Taylor of Edwardsville, Ill. The sisters are Mrs. J. W. Carleton of Coldwater, Kans. and Mrs. Roscoe Campbell of Overland Park, Kans.
Mrs. Guizlo also leaves a host of other relatives and friends. She was a charter member of the local Assembly of God church, whose ministry and constituency have been the objects of her sincere loyalty and concern. Her exemplary Christian life will long be an inspiration to those who knew her.

Comments: i am trying to find out all i can about my grandparents, ferrel taylor guizlo and charles guizlo. she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and he was a pharmacist in Coldwater in the 1920s and 1930s.
