Obituary.

Hannah Elsie Weddle, daughter of William Wesley and Synthia Anne Weddle, was born October 24, 1879, in Mercer County, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday evening, January 6, 1952, at the Denver General Hospital at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 13 days.

On September 19, 1901, at Pleasanton, Iowa, she was united in marriage with Charles Edward Killillay. To this union seven children were born.

In 1904 the family moved to Comanche county, Kansas, where they lived on a farm near Wilmore. They moved to a farm near Seibert, Colo., in 1927. Mrs. Killillay spent the rest of her life in that state.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior in 1904 and was baptized and became a member of the Baptist church of Perth, Kans. Shortly thereafter they moved to the Wilmore community, where she became one of the charter members in the organization of the First Baptist church. At the time of her passing, she was a member of the Westwood First Baptist church of Denver, Colo.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, C. E. Killillay, of the home; two daughters and a son - Mrs. Myrtle Walker; Mrs. Hazel Stewart, and Ray Killillay, of Yuma, Arizona; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Counts, of Meade, Kans; two sons; Everett Killillay of Craig, Colo., and Homer Killillay of Denver; two sisters; Mrs. Lena Holloway of Sheridan, Wyoming; and Mrs. Edna Nelson, of Scott City, Kans.; one brother, Nathaniel Weddle of Almont, Colo.; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; many other relatives and hosts of friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father; two sisters; Mrs. Ethel Smith and Mrs. Cora Hufft; two brothers; Merrit Weddle and Edgar Weddle; and an infant son.

She was a loving mother, a faithful wife, and a devoted Christian worker. She was instrumental in organizing at church Tabernash, Colo. This church is still functioning as a light for our Lord. She will be remembered as one who was faithful and helpful to others wherever she lived. She will be missed here but we rejoice in the victory and peace that is hers in the heavenly home.
