Jerry Dean Cline, 61, died Tuesday, January 8, 2002, at Comanche County Hospital, Coldwater, Kansas. Born June 30, 1940, at Ashland, Kansas, the son of Allen and Ruby (Hale) Cline, he was a Computer Analyst for the New Mexico Highway Department.
He was nearly a lifetime resident of Coldwater, Kansas. He attended Coldwater Grade School and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1958. He graduated from Emporia State Teachers' College. He was a member of First Christian Church, Coldwater, Kansas.
He is survived by his mother: Ruby Cline of Coldwater, Kansas; one sister: Donna Rush of Coldwater, Kansas; one nephew: Curt Rush of Coldwater, Kansas; two nieces: Gayla Kissel and her husband Kirk of Protection, Kansas, and Amy Sauser of Kansas City, Kansas; and three great-nieces: Megan, Kaycee, and Jessica Kissel.
He was preceded in death by his father: Allen Cline; one brother-in-law: Harley Rush; and one nephew: Jeffrey Rush.
Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2002, at First Christian Church, Coldwater, Kansas with Rev. Chet Mendenhall presiding.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater, Kansas.
Memorials may be sent to First Christian Church or Pioneer Lodge in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, Kansas 67029.
