COLDWATER - James Kenneth Cline, 89, died May 11, 1994, at Comanche County Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Oct. 20, 1904, at Evansville, Ind., the son of James Marion and Minerva (Metzker) Cline. A Coldwater resident since 1907, moving from Indiana, he was a retired carpenter and electrician. He was a 1924 graduate of Coldwater High School and was a licensed radio operator.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, Coldwater.
On Feb. 14, 1926, he married Nellie Maude Harris at Pratt. She died Nov. 25, 1987.
Survivors include: a son, Richard, San Angelo, Texas; two daughters, Dorothy Holmes, Broken Bow, Okla., and Kathleen Joiner, Coldwater; three brothers, Allen, Raymond and Junior, all of Coldwater; two sisters, Frances Burkhall, Coldwater, and Jessie Robertson, Artesia, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church, Coldwater, with Jack Wingate presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater.
Memorials may be sent to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
