Frederick Lee Roy Cline

COLDWATER - Frederick Lee Roy Cline, 82, died May 2, 1994, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Mo.

He was born Dec. 8, 1911, at Coldwater, the son of James Marion and Minerva Metzker Cline. He was a 1932 graduate of Coldwater High School. A lifetime Coldwater resident, he was a retired carpenter.

He was a member and past elder of Coldwater Christian Church.

On Dec. 24, 1939, he married Martha Ridge at Coldwater. She died Jan. 9, 1994.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Myrna Bensing, Elk Ridge, Md., and Beth Gardner, Kansas City, Mo.; four brothers, Kenneth, Allen, Raymond, and Junior, all of Coldwater; two sisters, Frances Burkhall, Coldwater, and Jessie Robertson, Artesia, N.M.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church, Coldwater, with Jack Wingate presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater.

Memorials may be sent to Coldwater Christian Church, Coldwater, or Liberty Terrace Care Center, 2201 Glen Hendren Drive, Liberty, Mo. 64068.

Martha Lavenia Cline

COLDWATER - Martha Lavenia Cline, 78, died Jan. 9, 1994, at the Pioneer Lodge Nursing Home, Coldwater.

She was born July 30, 1915, at Basil, the daughter of Arthur C. Ridge and Clara (Hayes) Ridge. A lifetime Coldwater-area resident, she was a graduate of Wilmore High School and attended Emporia State University. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Christian Church, the Christian Fellowship for Women, the Dorcas Circle, the Writers Club, was a former Girl Scout leader, and she belonged to the Christian Quilters Group, all at Coldwater.

On Dec. 24, 1939, she married Lee Roy Cline at Coldwater. He survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Myrna Bensing, Elkridge, Md., and Beth Gardner, Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Christian Church, Coldwater, with the Rev. Jack Wingate presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater.

Memorials may be sent to the Christian Church or to the Arthritis Foundation, both in care of the funeral home.
