The book was originally published as a series of newspaper articles in the Norton Champion, Norton, Kansas.  It is not divided into chapters, or any other obvious divisions, so I have just created links to each page.  These web pages are numbered with the same page numbers as the original book, to utilize existing indexes which were created much later, and are not in the public domain.  

For spelling, punctuation and grammar errors in the original text, in many cases, I have inserted the term (sic) in round brackets to acknowledge that error, but left the error unchanged to accurately reproduce the text as originally printed. 

Information added by me is enclosed in square brackets [   ], and may include omitted words, correct spelling, or other information for clarification.

I have not attempted to correct the long paragraphs, or the run-on sentences, again in order to accurately reproduce the original text.

These pages have not been proofread, except by me, and may contain errors, despite my best efforts.  Please feel free to contact me if you find an error, or would like clarification of a questionable item.
